Agriculture
As the global population’s purchasing power increases, so does the demand for a better quality of life. This quality of life is closely linked to a significant rise in the consumption of the earth’s resources.
For agriculture to supply food, it requires access to farmland. Increased access to land alone is insufficient. For crops to grow, access to nitrogen and fertilizers is essential, where ammonia plays a key role. Today, ammonia is produced from fossil resources – we aim to change that.
Since 1844, Danish agriculture has operated under financial cooperative models. The fundamental “idea” is cost-sharing for significant investments in non-core production assets. A specific set of agreements regulates the cost-sharing model and the distribution of profits.
Industry
The foundational product for developing rural and urban areas worldwide remains steel and cement. However, production in heavy industries, like ammonia, presents energy and environmental challenges.
Since the 1960s, intensive efforts have been made to replace fossil fuel consumption, focusing on developing alternative energy sources, especially wind, solar, and hydro power. Large nuclear power plants have also been part of the solution, but the early plants have, for various reasons, not been an attractive solution.
Simply put, we have not succeeded in reducing fossil fuel consumption, nor have we met the overall goal of delivering the necessary energy or reducing CO2 emissions. This recognition is increasingly accepted on a global scale.
Energy
We believe the only alternative is to re-examine new nuclear options and see how far development has come. The next generation of container-based power plants is expected to be operational within the next 2 to 5 years. The development and testing of these facilities are now increasingly supported worldwide. Globally, targeted efforts are underway to develop SNPs (Small Nuclear Power Stations), with two projects in Denmark. These modularly designed plants can be used locally or globally, and we believe in their potential.

Investment Opportunities
The cooperative mindset, or “cooperative model,” emphasizes collaboration, mutual assistance, and shared ownership among members of a community or organization. It is rooted in cooperative principles where individuals and/or businesses work together to achieve common goals while benefiting from collective resources and support. This approach promotes loyalty, belonging, social responsibility, and sustainability, often prioritizing community well-being over individual profit. The cooperative model can be established across various sectors, including agriculture, housing, and finance, and operates on democratic principles, giving members a voice in decision-making processes.
Since 1844, Danish agriculture has used financial cooperative models. The core “idea” is cost-sharing for significant investments in non-core production assets. A specific set of agreements governs the cost-sharing model and revenue distribution.
At V5 Development, we can operate within a traditional delivery and investment environment, but we are inspired by Danish cooperative models and welcome our partners to join an alternative investment and revenue-sharing model if they are interested.
Developing large and new industrial concepts requires access to capital. The often-overlooked fourth partner is financial. Therefore, we recommend joining with relevant financial partners early in the project stages to secure a solid financial foundation during the product’s maturity and expansion phases.
V5 Development is the complete flowsheet technology provider with a focus on agriculture-related production, heavy industry, and energy.
